RNA-UK 2012

Burnside Hotel, Bowness-on-Windermere, Lake District, UK
January 20 – 22, 2012

RNA-UK is a biannual meeting that focuses on the increasingly important functions of RNA. The meeting will focus on current research on RNA processing, RNA-mediated gene regulation, RNA localisation, RNA stability/decay, RNA function and RNA structure. The meeting is supported by the Biochemical Society as an Independent Meeting. As such speakers are strongly encouraged to write a review article for publication in the Biochemical Society Transactions.

Format

The meeting, as in the past, will be comprised of short talks only. This allows the opportunity for junior researchers to present their work.  Informal discussions are encouraged during sessions but also during breaks and after evening meals in the venue’s bar. In addition, Saturday afternoon will be free for hill walking or other activities available in the Lake District.
